Backend JavaScript Developer – Fully Remote

Backend JavaScript Developer (Vanilla / TypeScript) – Fully Remote – Permanent – £40,000 – £70,000 DOE + Benefits – Sports Media & Online Publishing

We are working with a successful and growing sports media and online publishing company that is expanding its digital platforms. They are looking for a talented Backend JavaScript Developer to join their small, collaborative team and work on high traffic, low latency ad tech and greenfield projects with high visibility across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established brand in the sports media space, where your work will directly shape how millions of fans consume digital content.

What you’ll be working on:

• Developing high traffic/low latency ad tech using Vanilla JavaScriptand TypeScript alongside open source projects such as js
• Delivering multiple greenfield projectsacross publishing and digital media
• Working in a small, agile, cross-functional teamwith lots of influence on technical decisions

What we’re looking for:

• Strong server-side JavaScript(Vanilla JS) skills
• Solid experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of build tools such as Gulp(or similar)
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Previous experience in ad tech, online publishing, streaming, or media environmentsis highly desirable
