Forward Deployed Engineer | Enterprise AI | London | £100k-£175k + Equity

We’re partnering with one of London’s most exciting early-stage enterprise AI companies. Founded by former engineers from one of the world’s best-known FDE organisations and backed by two leading global technology investors, the company has already raised significant funding and is deploying its platform with major enterprise customers. They’re now looking for exceptional engineers who want to sit directly between complex customer problems and the software that solves them.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll embed directly with enterprise customers, understand complex operational problems and rapidly design, prototype and ship production software – sometimes within days. You’ll work across industries including manufacturing, automotive, retail and financial services, collaborating with both customers and the core engineering team while feeding what you learn directly back into the product roadmap.

We’re looking for:

• 1-5 years’ software engineering experience
• Strong customer-facing communication
• Full-stack engineering capability
• Python, Rust and/or TypeScript
• SQL, REST APIs and enterprise data
• AWS, GCP or Azure
• AI/LLM tooling
• High agency and comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to rapidly understand unfamiliar industries and systems
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites

This is an opportunity to join an engineering-led team of just 17 people at a very early stage, with a high technical bar and significant funding behind it. You’ll work alongside engineers with deep experience solving problems inside some of the world’s largest organisations while having genuine influence over both customer outcomes and the core product.

The role is based in central London with approximately four days per week in the office alongside regular UK and international customer travel. £100,000-£175,000 base + competitive equity. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
